PAYMENT METHODS

We accept credit or debit cards through PayPal. We love PayPal. No cash, no checks, and no money orders, sorry if you intended to.

 

WHY DIDN’T I GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

First, check your spam or junk mail folder. Second, check your payment account to see if you’ve been charged for merchandise. If you didn’t get a confirmation email or if you haven’t been charged, your order may not have processed properly. Shoot us an email at [email protected]

 

I TOTALLY BIFFED MY ADDRESS. CAN YOU FIX THAT FOR ME?

We might be able to fix your address if it’s a minor change (you messed up your ZIP code, you misspelled your city or street name, you forgot to add your apartment number, etc.). Email [email protected]

But we take fraud prevention and customer security seriously, so we will not send your order to a completely different address. If you are paying with PayPal, make all applicable changes to your shipping address in your PayPal account prior to placing your order.

If you need to make a major change to your address, alert us immediately and we will cancel your order and refund your purchase price plus shipping. If we ship your canvas to the address you provided and it comes back to us, we will process it as a return and refund your money less the shipping costs.

 

I DIDN’T MEAN TO DO THAT! CAN YOU CHANGE MY ORDER?

If you want to change your order, email [email protected] as soon as you realize it. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

YOU MADE A MISTAKE ON MY ORDER. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT?

Our bad. It doesn’t happen often, but as Ricky says, “Nobody’s perfect.” Email [email protected], and we’ll work with you to make it right. Often, this will simply require that you send us a pic of our error so we can a) verify your claim and b) shame the offending department.

 

WILL YOU TAKE THE ARTWORK BACK FOR A REFUND?

We accept returns for a full refund less shipping charges on unworn and unbroken artwork within 30 days of delivery. The refund will be given through the original method of payment — no cash.

If you just decide to send it back with a note demanding money after the 14 days, we may offer your a credit in the amount you originally paid for www.theartbytrees.com. If you mail us artwork that has obviously been through a concert, a mud run or rodeo, and/or a Motley Crue tour bus, we’re just going to assume you’re making a donation to our print shop pizza fund.

 

ARE YOU GOING TO REIMBURSE ME FOR RETURN SHIPPING?

If you ship it back to us, we may reimburse shipping costs on returned items if:

  • The product arrived to you damaged.
  • The wrong item was shipped.

ARE YOU PROTECTING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your privacy is very important to us. We collect your personal information, including your name, shipping and billing address, credit card number, and email address as you place your order. This information is used to process your order, to update you on the status of your order, and to provide you customer support. We will not spam you and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

 

DO YOU COLLECT NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Like almost every other web site that you visit, we do collect some non-personal information, including your browser type, the URL of the previous web site you visited (a referring web site), your ISP, etc. This information is anonymous and only serves to aid us in improving your experience with our site.
